By booking or using our services, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully before confirming your appointment.
1. Booking & Appointments
Appointments can be made online, by phone, or through our website or social media channels.
Bookings are confirmed once you receive a confirmation message or email from KOKO Mobile Car Wash.
Customers must ensure that the vehicle is accessible at the agreed location and time and that the technician has sufficient space to safely perform the service.
We reserve the right to reschedule or cancel bookings in cases of severe weather, unsafe working conditions, or other unforeseen circumstances that may affect the quality or safety of the service.
2. Payments
Payment is due upon completion of the service unless otherwise agreed in advance.
We accept cash, card, or approved digital payment methods.
All prices are listed in GBP (£). Prices may vary depending on vehicle size, condition, service selected, or travel distance.
Any additional services requested on-site will be quoted and charged accordingly.
3. Cancellations & Rescheduling
Customers are requested to provide at least 24 hours’ notice for cancellations or rescheduling.
Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice may incur a cancellation fee.
If the technician arrives at the location and the vehicle is not accessible, the customer is not present, or the service cannot be performed due to circumstances beyond our control, the appointment may be treated as a missed appointment, and a call-out fee may apply.
4. Vehicle Condition & Service Limitations
Customers must ensure the vehicle is parked in a safe, legal, and accessible location.
KOKO Mobile Car Wash cannot be held responsible for pre-existing damage, including but not limited to scratches, dents, loose trim, damaged paintwork, or faulty components.
Our technicians take the utmost care when cleaning vehicles; however, customers are advised to remove all valuables and personal items before the service begins.
Certain stains, marks, or odours may not be fully removable depending on their age, material, or condition of the vehicle interior.
Vehicles that are excessively dirty or heavily soiled (for example due to mud, pet hair, biohazards, or heavy contamination) may require additional time and may incur an additional charge, which will be discussed with the customer before proceeding.
5. Customer Utilities (Water & Electricity)
KOKO Mobile Car Wash operates as a fully mobile service and can perform most services without requiring access to the customer's water or electricity supply.
However, if the customer has water and/or electricity available at the service location and is willing to provide access, this can be indicated in the booking form by selecting the relevant option.
Providing access to water or electricity may allow our technicians to work more efficiently and, in some cases, achieve an even more thorough cleaning result.
If the customer indicates in the booking form that these utilities will be available, they agree that:
- The water and/or electrical connection provided is safe and accessible for use during the service.
- The utilities are in proper working condition.
- The technician is permitted to use them for the duration of the service.
If the utilities are indicated as available but cannot be accessed at the time of the appointment, the service will still proceed where possible using our mobile equipment and onboard resources.
6. Weather Policy
For the safety of our technicians and to ensure the quality of results, services may be postponed during severe weather conditions such as heavy rain, strong winds, snow, or freezing temperatures.
If this occurs, we will contact the customer to reschedule the appointment at no additional cost.
7. Liability
KOKO Mobile Car Wash is fully insured for public liability.
While we take every precaution when working on your vehicle, we are not liable for:
- indirect or consequential damages
- pre-existing vehicle defects
- faults with vehicle electronics or mechanical components such as alarms, window mechanisms, mirrors, or locks
Customers are responsible for ensuring that their vehicle is in suitable condition for cleaning services.
8. Privacy & Data Protection
We respect your privacy and only collect personal information necessary to manage bookings and communicate with customers.
Personal data may include name, contact details, service address, and booking information.
Your data will never be sold or shared with third parties for marketing purposes.
All personal data is processed in accordance with UK data protection legislation and UK GDPR.
9. Photo & Media Usage
KOKO Mobile Car Wash may occasionally take photographs or short video recordings of vehicles before, during, or after service for the purpose of demonstrating the quality of our work and promoting our services on:
- our website
- social media platforms
- marketing materials
To protect customer privacy:
- Vehicle registration numbers (license plates) will never be publicly visible.
- If visible in original images, they will be blurred, covered, or digitally edited before publication.
Customer consent for the use of such images is obtained through the booking form, where customers can choose whether they agree to their vehicle being photographed for promotional purposes.
If the customer does not provide consent, no images of their vehicle will be used for marketing purposes.
10. Changes to Terms
KOKO Mobile Car Wash reserves the right to update or modify these Terms and Conditions at any time.
Any updates will be published on our website and will take effect immediately upon publication.
Customers are encouraged to review the Terms and Conditions periodically.
